From his youth, Dean Porter had a passion to reach out to the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.  He began his ministerial career in 1986 as a singer and songwriter in southern gospel music.  He relocated from Dahlonega, Georgia back to his hometown of Granbury,Texas and then found the woman of his dreams.  La Wanda and Dean were married March 17, 1990.  Since then they have been overwhelmingly blessed with two beautiful daughters, Brittany & Emily. During this time Dean had formed a Gospel Music ministry called, The Royalaires.  

In 2000, the Lord had placed a burning passion within Dean's heart to preach the Gospel.  After his ordination in Dec. 2001, he and La Wanda began serving the Lord as Associate pastor's of Lake Granbury Christian Temple.  In October, 2002 the door opened for senior pastorship.  They stepped in.

Since that time, the church has more than trippled in size, and currently worships within a newly finished, state of the art sanctuary which seats upwards to 500. Our mission is... keep on loving as God loves, and sharing the Truth of the encouraging Word of the Gospel as it continues to change peoples lives throughout the region. 

We are a church that continues to work and grow from it's original foundation...God's Love!

Psm.1:3- "And they shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of living water, that brings forth their fruit in their season; their leaf shall also not wither, and whatsoever they do shall prosper."

When you place yourself and your family in the fertile, rich soil of the Lord, you begin living life on a completely different plain!  Your on God' Property now and the good changes you're seeking in your life are about to happen to you!
